Find out if your most recent workout was balanced in terms of endurance, thresholds, and high intensity efforts. When paired with compatible sensors, the Edge 530 now displays your power curve, comparing your pedaling effort to previous weeks and months. No matter where you train, you can sync structured workouts from TrainingPeaks and Garmin Connect directly to your Edge. You can also view your next workout of the week and start it smoothly when needed.Whether you’re training with friends or just going to work, the Edge 530 takes your safety seriously. In addition, it is equipped with incident detection functionality that automatically sends your location to emergency contacts in the event of an accident. For added awareness, pair the Edge 530 with our rearview radar and Vario lights so you can see and be seen. And the new PIN-protected bike alarm will alert you on your smartphone and from the Edge if your bike is moved while you’re taking a break.Edge 530 comes preloaded with Garmin Cycle Map and includes turn-by-turn directions and detailed street names and navigation alerts that alert you to approaching dangerous bends on your route. To help you ride with confidence, the Popularity Routes feature chooses the roads and trails that other cyclists prefer. Edge 530 is also capable of returning you to your route or to your starting point in case you deviate from it or decide to go home earlier. With a route calculation speed 2 times faster than previous models, you will spend more time pedaling, without having to wait.If you need a change of scenery, the Edge 530 is the perfect guide for mountain biking. Start by downloading the free Trailforks app from our Connect IQ Store and then unlock the Trailforks map content on your Edge via a wizard. With trails from over 80 countries, Trailforks includes the best and most up-to-date information, including trail conditions, popularity maps, and more. If you stop halfway, the new Forksight mode automatically displays next forks and shows you where you are within a network of trails. While running, the Edge 530 tracks important details with new MTB metrics, such as number of jumps, length and suspension time. Other MTB features include the Grit, which evaluates the difficulty of a route using altitude sensors, accelerometer and magnetometer, and the Flow, which evaluates riding consistency so you can get a benchmark for your next ride.Climbing can become your secret weapon with Edge 530 and the new ClimbPro feature. During a climb, it automatically shows the slope and the remaining climb when you follow a route. It shows you how much you still have to suffer, helping you gauge your effort for the rest of the run.

Pairs an Edge cycle computer with a supported SHIMANO STEPS eBike system and displays a dedicated eBike status screen, data fields, system status information and warning messages. In addition to Edge’s metrics, such as time, distance, and speed, you can also view the pedal assist level, gear position, battery life, and distance left to go during a ride.

Only Garmin allows you to personalize your device with free apps, widgets, and data fields from the Connect IQ Store. Apps such as AccuWeather MinuteCast let you know when the rain will stop and pinpoint the perfect time for your next workout.
