General Properties

The combination of the high-tech Nano Optics lenses and the ultra-light frame with integrated carbon fibre is as close to perfection as one can get. In total, Hero weighs only 30 grams. All this adjustability, first-class comfort and performance that sets you free. Hero is the model for you if you prefer to kick the door down rather than wait for it to open.

Lens properties

The Nano Optics lens is everything you ever dreamed of, and more! Minimal optical distortion allows you to see things exactly as they are. The triple anti-fog coating makes fogged lenses a thing of the past. The hydrophobic coating keeps the lenses dry in all weather conditions, while the anti-scratch coating keeps them nice and clear. In addition, an oleophobic coating keeps the lens free of dirt. The lens is made of unbreakable X-PC, naturally with full UV protection. But that’s not enough! Nano Optics is available in two additional lenses. A photochromic lens that automatically darkens or lightens depending on the weather conditions and a Nordic Light version that offers sharp contrasts.

Materials

Hero has an inner core of Grilamid TR90, reinforced with super-stiff and lightweight carbon fibre, the same material used in fighter jets and F1 cars. ‘Compromised’ is not a word that fits here. Hero has a strong, light and all-round fantastic frame.

Adjustment possibilities

Hero is constructed with all types of performance in mind, including fit. Its light weight of only 30 grams makes it easy to wear on the face. Both the temples and the nosepiece are adjustable. Another advantage of Hero is the possibility of fitting an optical adapter. It is purchased separately and can hold your personal spectacle prescription.

Unbreakable polycarbonate lenses

The lenses are made of unbreakable polycarbonate that are 10 times more impact-resistant than plastic or glass lenses and offer the highest degree of protection.
