This year the summer has been long and intense, with temperatures sometimes prohibitive for some types of training… A season so loved but also so hated by most runners.
And here finally comes September… the end of summer is a bit comparable to the end of the year, new projects are made and new goals are set.
September is the best month to start running, to resume tougher training thanks to the cooler temperatures or to set new goals, both in terms of time and distance.
The opportunities to “measure yourself on the field” are many in the autumn season… marathons start again and the runner’s calendar becomes more crowded than in previous months.
