Description

The Vulcan 2.0 Jacket for women is a hooded, padded jacket, created in 2-layer DWR nylon fabric with a 15K/15K membrane, lined in DWR nylon fabric and with ultralight Comfortemp® 60gr polyester padding. Ideal for wearing during all out-door activities undertaken during the winter period.

Primary Fabric

Superlight 2-layer Nylon fabric (61 g/sqm), laminated with an ultra-thin polyurethane membrane that is impermeable to air, water (15,000 mm Water Column) and breathable (15,000 g/sqm/24h). The high fibre density guarantees high mechanical performance and wear resistance. The DWR water-repellent treatment gives the product long lasting performance, even after multiple washings. ANTIUV: UPF50+.

Secondary fabric

POLARTEC® ALPHA® DIRECT (139 g/m2) is an evolution of the original Alpha® technology that eliminates the need for a direct contact liner. By refining the shape and size of its bulky fibres, Alpha® Direct can be directly in contact with the skin or other fabric layers. This new design capability increases breathability and further reduces the overall weight of the garment.

PERTEX® QUANTUM (36 g/sqm): garments made of PERTEX QUANTUM® have the best weight/mechanical performance ratio. This ultralight product is as soft as silk, extremely compressible, with excellent wear resistance and protection from external moisture, wind and rain: the fabric does not get soggy, dries quickly thanks to the specific DWR water-repellent treatment that gives the product long performance, even after multiple washes. ANTIUV: UPF50+.

Comfortemp®: Ultralight (60 g/sqm) polyester wadding designed to offer thermal insulation, maximum lightness and freedom of movement. The special construction prevents fibres from escaping from the fabric and can be washed easily. This innovative insulation combines the advantages of down and wadding fillings in a quality that has never before been achieved. This thermal insulation is superior to conventional filling while being as light and soft as down. Comfortemp® is an innovative alternative to down, ensures excellent breathability and maintains a uniform structure even after washing, ensuring no cold spots.
