There are far too many runners, professionals included, who leave the house with waxed toes and more patches than energy gels stuck in their belts. Our brand new anti-blister socks are the result of numerous studies identifying the exact location where athletes develop sores and our designers’ answer to many thorny issues. Sensitive areas around the ankle, toes and sole of the foot are thickened or padded for optimal cushioning. In addition, antibacterial PTFE fibres are woven into certain precisely targeted micro-zones to prevent overheating of the skin, which is usually responsible for blisters. Our strip weaving technique offers optimal ventilation and moisture evacuation. A reinforcement strip on the Achilles area provides incredibly stable support, while multiplied 3D points absorb maximum vibration from the asphalt, stimulate blood flow and increase grip. Increased compression further reduces foot movement and improves the overall ergonomics. Combined with optimised sweat evacuation, this not only improves comfort, but also helps reduce blisters and rough skin on long runs. After running a marathon without feeling pain thanks to professional black socks, you could almost start another one.
