What is probably the most important aspect before starting to train, at any level, is to wear the right shoe.
Buying the right model is not easy and requires the advice of an expert who understands our needs.
One of the key aspects of our choice must first be the size.
This is an aspect that is sometimes underestimated or even worse, misjudged by those who buy but also by those who are selling the shoe.
The most common mistake made, by beginners and others, is to choose a shoe based on the usual size worn during the day in ‘normal’ shoes.
During physical activity, and in particular running, our body under stress tends to undergo physical ‘changes’ that should not be underestimated, in particular the foot may swell as a result of the effort and increased pressure, and it is therefore a good idea to buy running shoes at least one size larger than our standard size, if necessary even a size and a half.
It is a good idea to have about one cm of free space at the front of the shoe.
So don’t give numbers but choose the right size for your new running shoe!
